Furnace at my parent's place died over the weekend. They did some research and got a few contractors to provide quotes on similar 95+% furnaces. Daryl from Reliable was by far the least pushy and helpful of all. He was patient and answered questions, even mine over the phone. Installation was done the next morning and the quality of work is very good. Service was excellent, and once again Daryl went out of his way to help; even removed the blower motor from the old furnace for me. Hopefully the new furnace will last as long as the old one (25+ years) One note though... The guys doing the masonry work (drilling pipe holes and fitting new liner) did their work after the furnace and condensate pump were installed and didn't cover anything. When I went to take a look in the furnace room the next day, everything was covered with a pretty thick layer of dust and dirt (including new furnace and pump). I would suggest using drop cloths to keep everything clean next time.

Marius is a great guy to work with. He is very trustworthy and honest. He came to our house and we had a very detailed discussion about the work and quality I required. His quote was very reasonable. Marius also worked with me to ensure the project was done during a specific timeframe. Marius was always on time, and finished the job within the time limit, even though I asked him to repaint the bathroom when I didn't like the colour I initially chose. The work was of high quality. If you are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, Marius is the guy you want.

I went to see Ed to get my oak cabinet doors stripped. As a new homeowner, I didn't have much experience refinishing wood. Ed took the time to discuss all my problems and provided useful solutions. He even demonstrated some wood finishing procedures for me. Overall, Ed stripped the cabinet doors very well, and then went above and beyond to help me finish the project. Thanks Ed!
