Contracted for windows to be replaced through Sajo, owner accepted deposit, then never ordered windows from supplier, but continued to tell me they he was about to start. When I called the window company, who referred Sajo to me, they advised that the order had never been placed. After repeated calls to Howard, he admitted that it had been "missed" and offered to refund the deposit. After this there was several months of promises to repay, contacted GTHBA, then finally Toronto Star that published a big story. Howard did finally return my funds, so all I lost was a lot of sleep and one year on my window installation.
