Burt Thombs in Grimsby

We were looking for a carpenter to install some crown moulding and went to Turkstra Lumber to ask if they could recommend someone. They gave us two names and we called Melvin from Ashwoods Contracting. He gave us an estimate and we accepted. He showed up when promised, did an amazing job, since our house has some weird angles. We then had a problem with our deck and hired him again. One more time, he didn't disappoint. The problems have disappeared and we will definitely hire Melvin again.

A tree fell over landing on our roof during a severe windstorm. The insurance company dispatched a company from Brantford to repair the sunroom roofing damage, but the roof started to leak, worsening as time went on. I called numerous roofers to see if they could find a problem, none of whom could. I then called Elvis Benoit from All-Can in Mississauga, who arrived as promised, did the job and so far (knock on wood) we've had a couple of rainstorms and not a drop of water. He worked quickly, cleaned up afterwards and charged what his estimate was without trying to squeeze me for more money. 11 leaking skylights was no small task, but he did the job to perfection. I would recommend him and his company to anyone looking for any roof repairs. Travelling to Grimsby wasn't too much to ask and we're thankful that people like Elvis are in this business.
