Ended up paying a lot more than I expected. The inventory process is quite lengthy and not all 3 movers are productive for the full duration yet you pay for their time as though they are productive

The process of moving to our warehouse is a lot more detailed then a regular local move where the crew arrives, wraps your belongings and loads, and then unloads at delivery. With a job to our warehouse an extra man is needed to inventory all the items so an accurate list is taken of what is picked up as well as the condition of those articles. This job is actually the most important job as it ensures the items we take are the same items we return and in the same condition as at origin.
On a 3 man job to storage, 2 men are padding and the 3rd man is doing all the inventory and paper work. This same job moving locally would only require 2 men. The phone estimate provided was 6.25 hrs for your move to storage; the actual move hours were 7.75-a difference of 1.25, hrs which is fairly accurate given the extra pickup added on move day, and the pictures that you required the crew to pack.Your goods are now safe in our storage. On the move out, only 2 men will be required as all your belongings are already padded and the inventory is done.
You will just need to simply check things off as our crew arrives and place all your belongings in your home as you require it.
