Without a doubt, Kurmak Builders made our vision become a reality! Frank listened to what we wanted to see in our powder room, laundry area, and kitchen (especially our kitchen), proposed options and made suggestions which we may not have considered (i.e. flat painted ceiling, recessed wall for fridge, gimble over recessed lights over fireplace). Lisa guided us in our selections of finishes in cabinetry, tiles, countertop, etc. always prepared and preselected what could possibly work in the rooms to minimize the daunting number of choices to wade through. Anne was always on top of any concerns we had no matter how minor they seemed and made it right! And Paul, a perfectionist in his own right, inspected and ensured trades completed tasks at hand. From Day One, Frank and his team were wonderful and made this renovation experience extremely enjoyable. Each of them paid attention to details; there was minimal disruption (since we stayed in our home); and we were able stay within our budget. We would recommend Kurmak Builders to anyone planning a renovation in their future!

We were looking to switch over our wood burning fireplace to a gas fireplace. With the house being built in early 1990's we had a brick facing with a small arch, we wanted to keep the brick and arch intact and just have a gas fireplace installed. we chose Hearth and homes to do this for us. It was a great choice. Rob Bourdeau helped us to chose what fireplace product would be best for us as well and answered the hundred questions that we had, he was very patient. The installation team of Jeremy and Doug were excellent, they treated our house with respect, insuring that blankets were laid down, dust and garbage were keep to a minimum. They were fantastic to work with, they took the old firebox out without wrecking any of the brick, pretty amazing. They knew what they were doing. We now have a great new fireplace that we will be enjoying for a long time to come.
