We hired an electrician to install 4 new smoke detectors 2.5 years ago. The one on the main level started chirping (it wasn't a battery issue), so the manufacturer sent us a replacement, had it installed and it too started chirping less than a year later (again, not a battery issue). Concerned about what was going on, I called Gord's Electric and Scotty came by a few days later. Thank God we called him, there were some serious and dangerous wiring issues that he found and fixed. We could have lost our home, or worse!!! Scotty will be our electrician from now on!!!

Wonderful job by Jose! Very polite and respectful and showed up when he said he would and worked the entire day to get the job done. As most basement floors are (even with the subfloor and flooring) it was a little uneven and Jose was able to work with that and do a great job! We are so happy with his work and will definitely use him for our next job!

Our 100 ft driveway was a mess. Beaver Paving showed up early the day of the job. The men we all polite and respectful, they even brought coffee and muffins and knocked on the front door to give me some! The driveway looks so good, they angled it to meet up with the front walk way, at the gate, and finished the edges nicely! Our driveway butts up against natural stone that runs along under the gate to our back yard. One of the men picked up and leveled the stones before laying the pavement. He didn't have to do that, he could have left them wobbly! But he said it would be difficult for us to fix later. It was not an inexpensive upgrade to our home, but you get what you pay for!! Above and beyond, simply a great job!!

Returned my call quickly, showed up just when he said he would, told me what was wrong, and repaired my gas fireplace. Very polite and left no mess! I will most definitely hire him again if the need arises and would highly recommend this company.
