In our backyard reverse ravine, we had a very large branch fall from a massive and old Silver Maple. It was hung up in a dangerous way and needed to be removed along with a tall Locust tree that had fallen across the telephone lines and hung across our yard. All this was removed along with some other large dead branches on the maple. This work had to be done in a tight forested area and all trunks and branches hauled out to the front for disposal. We wanted to make sure that we used somebody who could do this work properly and safely. We were very impressed with Toronto Tree Removal. They were very efficient and safe in their work and very accommodating and pleasant if performing their job. They left the place cleaner than when they started without damaging other surrounding plants or trees. I would highly recommend them.

We have no hesitation in recommending Milorad for tiling work. Eight years ago we had him do two bathrooms with built in floor heating, complicated showers including niches and basketweave patterns. We thought he was so good and diligent in his work. We were lucky to have found him. However, we were so busy we didn't give him a review at the time. We felt bad as he truly deserved an excellent review. Time passed and we forgot to give him the great review he deserved. When it came time for us to do a major renovation of our kitchen, powder room and front hall we wanted to replace our old tiling. We were very happy to be able to have Milorad do this work. He has finished this work and it is great. Attention to detail. Fair. Fun to have on the job. He has real pride in the work he does. We were so lucky to have found him 8 years ago and to be able to have him do work for us again now. Once our countertops are installed we look forward to having him return soon to do the backsplash.

We were looking for cedar shingles for our walls to be done with the care and design of the past when craftsmanship was the rule. After researching for an extended period of time, we found Brent at Upper Canada Roofing. The end result was even better than we could have imagined. Firstly, Brent is committed to doing things right. He also will take the time to notice if there are any other problems with your house - particularly when it comes to keeping the water out. He found a couple of issues left by some previous trades that would have caused us big problems down the road. We were able to fix them before they were an issue. Most importantly Brent is a craftsman and an artist. This is so rare in today's world. He is able to take design ideas and add his own flair and attention to details. If you want a quality job done, he is your man. If you want artistry and craftsmanship with cedar shingles on the wall or the roof, he is at the top of the industry. We are glad we found him and so pleased with the results. 10++. We get people stopping on the street to comment on how much they like the work and design. In the photos, the front has had two coats of Flood solid stain. The back has had only one. We will be applying a second coat to the back in the spring. Both look good depending on what you like.

Our job involved a second floor addition as well as drywall work on the main floor. Over 1500 square feet of space was dry-walled. The job involved complex ceilings and dormers. Rob and his team do great work and clearly take pride in what they do. They were quite good at blending a the new and old walls together. They are very pleasant to have on the job. Even during the quote phase Rob noticed a number of things that we could fix before the drywall was put on. I would highly recommend Rosati Drywall.

I would give Paul an 11 rating if I could. I am acting as a general contractor for a significant second storey addition to my own house. I have done this before and I know the demolition and framing is the most critical trade. I was pleased to find PTR on Homestars. He knows his stuff, he communicates well and he is able to deal with unexpected challenges during the job. Pricing and quality are excellent Even before the job started Paul added value by seeing opportunities and issues from the plans we presented. Also, during the job, he can add value to what is in the plans. His whole team was a pleasure to deal with - very conscientious. He and his team have a great pace to their work, always moving the job along, overcoming challenges. We delayed our project start by a month so that we could use him and I am so glad we did.

Jo and his team did a solid job of a combination of shingle and built up roof along with skylight installations. The team was always courteous and reliable. Job well done.

We needed a chimney rebuild from roof line up, prior to getting new roofing. Probably like a lot of you, I have a busy schedule and appreciated Bill's quick response to emails and we got a lot done over the internet. In fact, I never met Bill. However, my wife met him and the crew during the job and remarked on how courteous and efficient they were. The price was competitive as well.
