The entire team at Capital Asphalt were focused on doing a great job and making me a more than satisfied customer. They were on time, on budget, conscientious, courteous, comprehensive and very communicative. I was kept apprised of their work and progress every step of the way. They explained all aspects of their paving job thoroughly and took the care to make sure that their work would be sure to last. Their entire team was polite and they made sure that they cleaned thoroughly before leaving. They did an outstanding job!

Rockland textiles has a wide variety of fabrics for almost any home decoration project. I always make Rockland textiles my first choice for those hard to find accessories for curtains, foam etc. While I have, on occasion found exactly the fabric I was looking for, I haven`t always and so can`t rate them with a `5`

We found an asolutely gorgeous glass doored bookshelf in the catalogue of a high-end based retailer. Delivery was not possible, so we talked to the good people at Gendron to see if they could build the equivalent. Not only could they build it, they offered to customize the dimensions so it would fit perfectly into the nook where we wanted to place it. All for a far lower cost than the catalogue price. The results are superb, with fine craftsmanship, flawless finish and fine detail. They even carefully delivered it. Following this project, Gendron also refinished a family heirloom china cabinet. Why buy from the catalogue and get a piece of furniture of unknown origin, when you can get a higher quality item right here in Ottawa.

Nan's yellow velvet Queen Ann chair and her Green Velvet Queen Anne chair had seen better days. They were sadly no longer in style and the finish on their wooden arms was starting to deteriorate into a sticky mess. We started by picking out fabrics we liked from an out of town supplier (little did we know that Canusci had such a large selection). With fabirc in hand, we visited Cantusci. We were warmly greated and provided with a very attractive price (far less than we expected). They also offered to refinish the arms for a modest additional price. The work was done promptly and teh results are flawless. I recommend Cantusci to everyone that has furniture with strong "bones" and perhaps a little too much time on the fabric.

We have a 150 foot lane that we tried to clear with a driving lawn mower the first year we moved in. Some nights it took over 4 hours to clear the lane with what turns out to be almost a toy in the snow (even at 20hp). So we looked for a snow removal company. We only had to drive down our street to see that almost everyone had Jason's lane markers to show who was clearing their lane. Jason's team is courtious and prompt. they arrive well before the first snowfall to mark the lane (gravel or paved) and always come promptly to clear the lane. For gravel, Jason's tractors establish a solid snow base first so that they don't clear all your gravel on your lawn. In our two seasons of having Jason clear the lane, tthey have always been very careful not to tear up any grass (and haven't) and have also been considerate on our neighbourhood street. (this is more than I can say about the competition who ended up with their tractor in my front yard as a result of excessive speed)

Charles and his team are absolutely meticulous when they come and clean our windows inside and out. Take special care inside your home to ensure that nothing other than the windows get wet. We have windows that are rather high from the ground (20' plus from the ground) and they are no problem for the team at residential plus. Our windows and sills are always left exceptionally clean and streak free. They even clean the screens if you like.

We moved into our new home around three years ago to find that the well water was not being treated in the home. We called Moe at Canadian Water Inspection Services to help us out. He tested our water and recommended a meaingful solution to help with the water hardness and purification. He stuck by his estimated cost and had the system installed in a prompt professional manner. We have had the occassion to call more for annual inspections and have been very pleased at his immedaite responses and timely follow ups. We could not be happier with Moe and his team.
