We were referred to Aeroseal Tech by a colleague after complaining about the lack of balance in temperatures across our three stories (two floors and a finished basement). The service was expensive, but in an initial sales meeting we were walked through what the process would be and how results would be measured. The process involves measuring air flow through all vents, then sealing them and pushing the "aeroseal" gel through the vents. After the gel has been sent through the vents, the airflow is re-measured and the vents are then balanced (partially blocked) to ensure airflow. We previously had a regular 5 difference (sometimes more) between our basement and upstairs. After the highly professional service by the techs (about three hours), we noticed the difference the same evening and the difference was stark by the following day. The sales pitch said that the service would pay for itself over a five year period in reduced energy costs but the quality of life improvements made the service immediately worth it. I would highly recommend this to any home owner.

We were preparing to seal our ducts and it required a duct cleaning. The earliest we could get with a competing service was the same day as the duct sealing, which was not suitable. We called Air Force Duct Cleaning and were able to get service for the next day. Jahmiah and Yousef were quick and professional with the service completed within three hours. We highly recommend them.

Prompt and polite response to our service request. We discussed possible ranges of costs versus cost of replacement and time to repair and we were satisfied with the answers provided so booked a service appointment. The service person was on time and professional, and took the time to explain the problem and what would be required to replace broken part. The part was available the next day, so something we thought would take a week or so was dine in two.

Our front door was not latching properly, so I was looking for someone who could replace the entire door frame and searched HomeStars. Odd Job popped up as a well-reviewed service, so I sent them an email. Given the basic job outline, they provided a rough estimate, which I verified against friends I have who have had similar services performed and found it to be within an acceptable range. It took a couple of weeks to schedule the Odd Job workers to come out, owing to a long turnaround time between them requesting photos of the job to be performed and me finding time to take those photos and send them. In that time, we also established that it might be possible to do *less* than a full frame replacement, but that we would see what the workers said when they came out. Finally, the work was scheduled to start on a Thursday between 10:30 and noon; the first technician arrived at 10:40 to start assessing the work to be done and the second arrived at 11:00. They talked through what might be done and expressed confidence that they would be able to repair the latching problem without having to replace the frame or damage the door. By 12:30, they had done exactly that. The job was done so well that my wife thought that the door was sticking…not realizing that both latches on the door actually worked, which they have not done since we moved into the house almost seven years ago. I am now collecting other odd jobs to be performed and will schedule more time with the folks from Odd Job—they did their jobs *very* well. I would highly recommend them to others.
