We designed our basement to be a fully functional home office and flexible for the needs of our family. With approx. 1,100 sq feet space available the area needed to be workable, efficient and recreational. Knowing beforehand is essential for success, but executing the design brings our ideas to life. Mike works hard and more importantly listens. This easily allowed us to discuss the designs and the relative changes needed that kept the overall price within budget. The bulkhead and plumbing pipes were relocated to maximize ceiling heights. The walls, hall display cabinets and mirrored closets were redesigned to hide support beams and efficiently add more storage areas. Wiring for telephones/high speed internet/tv cable installed in the offices. Mike professionally handled the complexity flawlessly and passed the city building and electrical code inspections for our home. We purchased a Samsung 26" Fridge with Ice Machine on the Front Door Front. The cost was nearly $1,000 more than listed, but they price matched the competition. As well, their Online Store sells the difficult to locate water filters, for some reason none of the stores selling this model refrigerator offers. The only reason the rating is not higher is the initial price should have been more competitive than a simple price match. Great service and the availability of parts makes this a good place to start shopping.

We located Capps Ducts from Homestars and believed they deserved our first review. Paul and Joe did a phenomenal job in explaining the procedures, responded to questions, took great care to minimize disruptions, extremely knowledgable, finished on time and joked with our small kids to help them relax. We had just completed renovations (see other reviews) to our 1,200 sq. ft basement. As we expected during the construction, dust had travelled from the basement throughout our 13 year old home. We're the original owners and ducts are normally cleaned every 4 years. This would have been our 3rd Duct Cleaning. Capps cleaned all the Ducts (Heat and Air), Furnace, Adjusted the Air Flow, Checked the Air Filter, Cleaned the Dryer and helped to remove the bird's nest in the main floor exhaust fan. They removed approx. 10-15 lbs of dust, not including the birds nest, dryer vent and the 2" X 4" wood block on the second floor vent after it was previously cleaned twice! We considered other contractors with varying prices, but considering the services performed; Capps far exceeded our expectations. I will gladly recommend and provide a reference for their services. Good honest and hard working companies do exist, Capps Duct Cleaning Services Inc is well worth the money!
