Long story short, we have had ADT protectron for 3 months now. Everything seemed fine until we had a false alarm from our smoke detector 2 weeks ago. It took them 18 mins to get ahold of us and by this time the fire dept, ambulances and police are barging in our house. Sure sounds great if there was a real fire. However there wasn't and even if there was, a 20 minute response time when we have a fire dept 2 mins from us would have probably meant we would be dead. I call customer service and after speaking to 3 different ppl, I find out to my horror that the first number on our call list is one that doesn't match any of our numbers. I'm told that they tried to first contact me on that number and when they couldn't get ahold anyone they had to find my contract and that's when they finally got ahold of me, which should have been the first number. It's clearly written on the contract. At this point I ask to speak to a supervisor. I'm told they will escalate my request and someone will be in touch. It's been 2 weeks now and I have called back 4 times with the same response. ADT is a pathetic excuse for an alarm company. The one thing you are suppose to do is protect and you can't even do that. Had that been a real fire I would sue your company for negligence. I do NOT recommend this company.
