Outstanding service and quality. We needed to replace broadloom in living room and dining room as well as replace a piece of broadloom in the basement. Mark provided great advice and responded quickly to all communications. His crew went above and beyond when the did the work and the quality of their work was amazing. Highly recommend!

Based on Homestars and other references I used Princess Perfect to reupholster all my living room furniture including wing arm chairs, sofa, 2 ottomans, and an oversized arm chair. As well they recovered the banquette in my kitchen and made tablecloths for a small round table in the kitchen. Lisa Jo and all the others were consistently helpful and a joy to work with - from the beginning in the selection of fabrics, to pick-up and delivery. The quality of the finished work was outstanding and the service was timely and professional throughout. I highly recommend Princess Perfect - an outstanding company.

The motor in our range hood broke down and because the range hood was an unusual size AND was located within a custom built cupboard system repair or replacement became very problematic. After reading reviews we called in Solutions Electrical. We knew it was a small job, but we still got very quick service. Tony and his staff spent time and went out of their way finding a hard-to-find replacement that they installed successfully. Everyone we dealt with was very professional, helpful and efficient. We will definitely continue using them for all future electrical work. Thank you for going the distance for us!

We have been using Dunlop Plumbing for all our plumbing needs at the cottage for over 20 years now. They are always prompt, pleasant, and do fabulous work. So happy the we can rely on them whenever something happens to our equipment and every spring and fall when opening and closing the cottage.

I have been using Maret's services for a number of years now, including total one time cleaning of both my house and my daughters condo as well as monthly cleaning of kitchen, bathrooms etc. of my house. Both types of service have exceeded expectations. Angie, who comes monthly, makes my rooms shine like new and cleans the tiniest spaces. We were stressed out by the need to move my elderly mother out of her condo into our house, and at the same time move our daughter out of our house and into the condo. My initial call to Cargo Cabbie reassured me that it was doable in one day. Hilary was very calm and helpful, especially when the restrictions and reservations for the condo elevator became complicated. The assistance in preparing for the move was amazing. The actual move day (yesterday) went so smoothly and efficiently it was astounding. The crew doing the moving were so friendly, calm, professional and in control that everything was done more quickly than we could have imagined. Every piece of furniture was wrapped and handled with great care and placed exactly where we wanted it. I would use Cargo Cabbie again without question (although hopefully not for awhile) and would recommend them highly.

Maret's did an amazing, efficient and thorough job cleaning up our condo after a bathroom renovation that left everything a mess . Every nook and cranny outside and even inside cupboards and appliances was left clean and shining. Couches and chairs were thoroughly vacuumed. Jackie and her wonderful team took down chandeliers and made them sparkle like they were brand new. Windows, sills, mirrors and everything else just shone! Maret and Jackie and a real pleasure to deal with. They are always on time and do a complete estimate and always do that little unexpected extra. Highly recommend them.

I was surpised to read the reviews here. I am recommending Asselin to a friend because I have used them on two different occasions to repair two of my flat roofs - most recently in 2006 - and they did a great job and I have never needed a repair on them yet (the 10 year guarantee seems to be fine). I looked them up on homestar to find their phone number and was shocked by the reviews. My experience has been that they are easy and professional to deal with and have done great work. Obviously there are a variety of experiences! I will still recommend them based on my experience.

Maret's people and service are absolutely awesome. I hired them to do a detailed cleaning in my house and the results are amazing. My applicances look brand new inside and out. Every detail of each room done is now sparkling. They removed what I thought were impossible to get rid of dirt and grease build up. Those places that never really get cleaned are spotless. Their attention to detail is remarkable. The people are professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. I am now starting a regular cleaning schedule with them and look forward (with much relief) to never worrying about those hard to reach and hard to clean spaces being dust, dirt, grease and cat hair free!

There was a foul smell coming from a basement drain and I called Vitaly who came and investigated the pipe with his camera, showing me the situation and explaining that a root had broken through the pipe and was clogging it (this hasn't been the first time since there are alot of really old and big trees on neighbouring lots - at least this time we caught it before it flooded). He explained what needed to be done and two men came the next day and dug up and fixed the problem. They cleaned up perfectly and fixed the problem. VItaly came while they were cleaning and checked again with the camera and all was fixed. He made some great suggestions about how to help with any future situations and I arranged for him to come annually to check out the drains so that we can nip problems in the bud. As well he returned in a couple of days to make an adjustment to the drain so that floods would no longer occur in the carpeted area of the basement. I would highly recommend his services - timely, professional and effective.

My very old Maytag dryer finally had some problems. I considered buying a new one but thought that it might be worth seeing if it could be repaired. Read the reviews here and decided to call Joe. He figured out the problem quickly, had the necessary parts with him and fixed it quickly. What a wonderful surprise. He explained what the problem was, showed me the parts that had to be changed and why - and explained what he was doing. Wonderful customer service and very knowledgeable and skilled. Have put his card at the front of line!!
