I purchased a very highend video card on ebay that arrived with physical damage. The supplier acknowledged the damage and replaced the card but said not to bother returning the damaged card so I ended up with a free extra but damaged card. To be exact one of the capacitor was broken of the board but it was in the package. Now this card is made with cutting edge surface mount technology and ideally when reparing it should have the broken of pins desoldered from the board and a new intact capacitor soldered on. That's all very well but where do you find the replacement highly specialized replacement capacitor. I found Vlad using a proximity seach on yellow pages and took the card and capacitor to him. He tested the capacitor and found that it was still functioning correctly. I watched him work on it and he actually solder the broken of capacitor back onto this extremely fine and advanced printed circuit board! This guy could be a brain surgeon. The card worked perfectly. Bonus! an extra highend graphics card for $40. Thanks Vlad. Now I know where to bring my broken electronic.

I decided to hire a professional to do the drywall finishing on my DIY basement remodelling because after much deliberation I came to the conclusion that I didn`t want to take the chance that I would mess it up at the finishing stage. I arranged for 3 quotes. The first guy failed to keep two appointments and didn’t call to let me know! The second was professional and reasonable and indicated that the job would take about eighty man hours. Based on my research this seemed like a long time for this job! Rob Rosati of RA Rosati Drywall was next up. Rob`s quote was very competitive. He indicated that the job would take about forty man hours with 2 guys, approximately 4, 5 hour visits. This was exactly what I had expected. The clincher was the fact that he would be doing all the work himself. The following week Rob and his associate started and within the specified number of visits and hours, completed the job to a standard that met and exceeded my expectations. All corners both inside and out were clean and uniform. All the seams both tapered and butt were invisible. All the screws were invisible. The drywall dust was minimal and manageable. I was particularly impressed with the inside corners where two walls and the ceiling meet. Bear in mind that Rob achieved this working on my DIY framing and boarding job which was far from flawless! Over the last few months I have been examining drywall finish in different places at every opportunity to identify the common flaws in anticipation of this job and I can say that my now almost complete basement regarding drywall finish is as good as any I have seen and far better than most. One final note, Rob and his associate are presentable, were courteous and respectful of us and our home and we were comfortable leaving them alone in our home. Highly recommended.

I would strongly recommend not buying any new PC Games from this store. They are overpriced and having been a customer of this store for a long period of time I was told that I would not be given a refund or store credit after purchasing a new PC game and returning with it the next day. The game is Scarface which was $58.99 with five dollars of for Boxing Day. It bought it because I received a $50 gift certificate for this store and they had nothing that specifically interested me. The game was the worst produced first person I had seen for a recent game (Poor Graphics and lousy control interface”. I felt comfortable buying it because I was sure that they would at least give me store credit if I didn’t like it. Not so. A minimum requirement for me to shop anywhere is a consumer friendly return policy. I would say that I have spent a few hundred dollars in this store over the last few years. NOT A PENNY MORE. NO THANKS GAMERAMA.
