As with previous experiences, Gancy was quick to respond to help combat yet another wave of rat infestation in my neighbourhood. With his swift action, I'm hopeful that the issue is addressed, before it got a foothold and became worse (i.e. before they got into the house!) Highly recommend!

Pavel was quickly dispatched to fix my garage door that wasn't closing properly... he replaced the rollers, made adjustments, lubed everything up, and got it working in tip-top shape again. In the process of doing so, he noticed several of the bolts holding the roller hinges onto the door had worked themselves loose from all the bouncing the door had been doing because it wasn't closing properly. If he hadn't of noticed that, it was probably a matter of time before the door came crashing down - I very much appreciated Pavel's attention to detail, knowledge, and professionalism. Definitely would recommend!

Ryan and Matt showed great care and attention to detail from beginning to end. Ryan did a great design (drawing first, so we could see what things would look like), helped us pick the steps and stones best suited for what we wanted, and did a great job excavating, leveling, and laying the stonework, steps, and sod with minimal waste. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, and we are thrilled with the final result. Highly recommend!

The two electricians they sent out to install 6 new dimmable LED potlights were extremely professional and did a great job. During the installation prep they realized there was some plumbing right where we wanted some lights, making it impossible to install the lights they brought, so they went out and quickly got some new slimmer ones that would fit in the limited space available. They also did a great job minimizing drywall damage and cleaned up after the installation was complete. We're very pleased with the lights!

We had a few jobs needing attention (one toilet not shutting off, another was slow to fill, one water shutoff valve didn’t work, and two bathroom faucets needed replacing). Max showed up on time despite the snowstorm, and made quick and efficient work of all our jobs. He knew his stuff, and was able to pinpoint the source of our problems without too much effort. He was also respectful and left our home clean. Very pleased, and definitely recommend!!

Gancy was extremely responsive and was able to come out immediately. He was quite knowledgeable and explained how the traps worked, and how they'd only affect rodents, but not our wild rabbits or chipmunks. After a few days, we stopped seeing the rat who had taken over (and terrorized) the wild rabbits home under our shed. It's been a few weeks now and we appear to be rat-free. Thanks Gancy!!

We live in a fairly new home (less than 10 yrs) in Bowmanville. Over the past year, in very specific conditions (strong east wind and rainfall) we would experience water leaking into our house and struggled to identify the source(s). After a couple visits from a great, honest roofer (and one more who wasn't so great), we had ruled out the roof as the issue, and through Homestars we found Steve from Clayson Construction. Steve's experience and knowledge allowed him to very quickly pinpoint where the potential problem areas might be. He and his partner were able to get started very quickly, and over a few days had addressed all the potential issues, plus a couple he found while they were working. They were both extremely friendly, professional guys and were great at ensuring our deck, etc were covered up for protection, and cleaned up at the end of every day. Steve even took pictures throughout the job which he used to explain what he was seeing and doing - that was really helpful. The quality of their workmanship was top notch, and we were relieved to see that the past few heavy rainfalls have not produced any more water inside our house, so our hats off to Steve for being a master of his craft --- thank you!!!
