We are in the process of an extensive home renovation that required the removal of a very large Norway Maple, located a few feet away from our home. I found Toronto Tree Removal on Homstars; based on the reviews I decided to give them a call. Hilary (arborist), came out to our home to assess our situation. We found him to be professional, organized, knowledgeable, honest, prompt and provided an estimate at a very competitive price point. We were impressed with the way he dealt with the job from beginning to end (gathering information, getting the City permits, removal of the tree). The onsite staff were also very hardworking, a pleasure to deal with, completed the job safely, and left the area clean. I took the day off of work to oversee the job, which I realized was unnecessary because the onsite staff’s work ethic quickly inspired my confidence in their competence. This is a gem of a company, that I look forward to recommending to my friends and family. Thank- you Toronto Tree Removal for surpassing my expectations!

I found Can Do Fences & Decks on Homstars, and based on the reviews I decided to give them a call. Alon Zamdvaiz (Sales Manager) came to our home to give us an estimate. We found him to be professional, organized, knowledgeable, honest and he provided an estimate at a very competitive price point (in fact you'll probably find that Can Do Fences & Decks are less expensive than most other companies, including small operations). We were impressed with the way Alon represented the company and decided to go with the deal. The other major strength of this company is their onsite staff. They have very hardworkers, focused, easy to deal with and they know their stuff. The two guys (Jean and an older gentleman) who finished-up the fence on the final day were particularly fantastic. We kept having issues with blown fuses, which meant an extra long day for them, and they couldn't have been more sweet or accommodating about their time being wasted. We really appreicate their pererverance, especially on such a hot day. A customer's confidence could wain between the time you sign the contract to the day of the build. In between this time we wanted to make some changes. We forwarded the changes through e-mails, but never really felt sure that the information was documented. Alon does an effective job of getting back to customers however, based on our experience and overall sense, this company would benefit from having someone in charge of getting back to customers more promptly. This was not a huge problem for us, but for others it could be. That being said, we ended up with a great fence that we look forward to enjoying for years to come. Our neighbours were also very impressed with their workmanship and will be calling them in the near future for their services. Despite the lack of communication discussed above I would still give them a 10 based on the fact that we've got a great fence, I would use them again for other projects and I would recommend them without hesitation.

I originally discovered Bill through this website and at first I was a little hesitant because he only had a couple of reviews. However, we decided to go with him and boy, are we glad we did. Our experience with Bill from beginning to end was extremely positive. He is everything you hope to find in a contractor: fair, prompt, reliable, knowledgeable, takes pride in his work, sticks to his word and is truly professional. He worked tirelessly through some of the hottest and humid days of this summer to get the job done on time, and on top of that added some extra touches here and there, which were a pleasant surprise. Our once shabby looking bungalow now looks like a million bucks! Some of our neighbours have dropped by since to see his work and look forward to hiring him in the near future. European Painting Inc. is an East York gem. We will certainly hire him again, recommend him to our friends and family, and we feel confident giving him such high regards for the purpose of this website.
