I originally called a company listed on Homestars as AM Appliance and spoke to George who advised me that they have two companies which are one of the same - AM Appliance and High Tech Appliance. This should have been a red flag for me as the confusion began this early on my mission to hire a reliable, competent and honest repairman. He instructed me to call him on a different number than the one listed on Homestars moving forward and so I did. I have a few clients whose stoves I was trying to get fixed. One a gas stove and the other an electrical one. I got a quote how much it would be to fix the gas stove but what's scary is that when I called them at a later time, I was told that they didn't have any technicians trained on gas stoves. That was red flag #2. Needless to say, their lack of professionalism reflected in their communication etc, my client wisely enough chose not to move forward with using their service. As for the electrial stove, I played phone tag with George for quite some time after he told me: how much it would cost to fix the electrical stove, how much the parts were and the fact that he would be going in to do it on weekend. That weekend came and George was nowhere to be found. I called him for a few days in a row. His phone was turned off. When I finally callled back the original phone number to AM Appliance, my conversation with the person on the phone was just scary. They had no record of me. They stated they didn't fix gas stoves. They would not tell me their name after I asked them who I was speaking to more than half a dozen times. I was yet again given a 3rd phone number of an Atiar who I should contact to resolve the issue. Atiar sounded just like George and instructed me to contact him on the same phone number as George's? I was completely devistatingly confused but I just wanted the job done. Even though this was my red flag #4 by now?? Finally 'George' or 'Atiar' or whomever it was that went in, replaced the parts on the electrical stove. I thought the nightmare was over however my final surprise was when I received an invoice billing me for double the time than what I was promised. I attempted to raise my concern however, it went unrecognized. I am paying them the price billed but I would not under any circumstance recommend this company to anyone. They are dishonest and represent everything that give contractors and repairmen a bad name. Update: they did allow me to pay the amount that was promised to me in the end however this does not take away from the fact that the entire experience was a very unnecessarily stressful and confusing one.

We can not make happy all my customer, I try my best. Our service call and repair cost charge $50.00. I try to contract with you, you never response me.Thank you very much. I hope my customer will read and they will understand.

Last year I used Tom Trucker on 3 seperate occassions. Nathan and Franco were amazing every single time and moved quite quickly and efficiently. I had them the first time and I was so happy with the move that I requested them both other times. I had special instructions every time on how my furniture was to be handled and they listened to my wishes. Every time the day before the move, Anton from their office called me to confirm my appointment and I laughed because he had beat me to it. I appreciated the call every time. I think that my reason for continuously using Tom Trucker was that Anton made me feel safe and at ease every time I spoke to him. In the past I had bad experiences with moving companies when they came up with hidden fees at the last minute and held my stuff hostage unless I paid the amount they demanded. I was relieved when Anton told me there were no hidden costs and even more relieved when my stuff was moved from one place to another without any issues. Three for three! I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Anton's professionalism alone sets this moving company from the rest.
