Having used Delta in the past for service I automatically called them, as my furnace quit on the weekend. After explaining the problem I was told what part needed to be replaced and that it would be $180 as that was the hourly rate. I booked the service to replace the part, but when the technician arrived and diagnosed the problem (the same as had been discussed on the phone), was told that he didn't have the part and that I'd have to book a subsequent appointment. I was then billed the full $180 for a half an hours work (for cleaning, not replacing). As I found out later, there was a minimum $180 charge and I was to pay for travel time. Neither had been mentioned at time of booking. Now I was expected to pay an additional $90 plus parts to fix what was supposed to have been fixed initially. I've cancelled my second appointment and will look elsewhere from now on. Decided to give it another shot and contact the owner Calvin (the gentleman I originally spoke with on the phone who diagnosed the problem) and we resolved the issue. He was very pleasant and helpful and I will once again return to Delta next September for my furnace maintenance and sensor cleaning which he gave me a deal on. Delta has restored my faith.
