We first called Mason in 2012, after a 14-month process of disappointment and excuses from another local company. On their third and last visit to make a permanent fix to our 10 year old Carrier, the tech started to talk up the option to replace the whole furnace. I still have this mental image of their tech crouched in front of the open box, tapping the thing with his pen, shrugging shoulders. So when the problem reoccurred 3 months later, at 6pm on a windy -15C night we called Mason. I was prepared to have the message returned in the morning and maybe we'd see someone the next night? He returned the call in 10 minutes, and by 9pm he was walking through the front door, half an hour later the heat was back on. We needed another appointment later to fully correct the issue, but it was pretty complicated, relating to airflow and fuel mixture, an engineering deficiency in our Carrier furnace. Mason was able to explain this well. I seriously doubt whether the other tech or his company were capable of solving this, either that or they were simply unwilling to explain, and let me think the problem was fatal and necessitated scrapping the whole furnace. We were very happy to find Mason, we will never use any other HVAC company, and would highly recommend Mason at Nissan Air to anyone.
