Have now used these guys to move three times. They always show up half an hour early, fast, efficient, careful with our stuff and a pleasure to work with. Everyone who I recommended them to has been very happy with them.
We used Draincom to waterproof our basement from the inside. We found the whole process to be flawless and professional from start to finish. Their sale associate did not try to upsell us but was very forthcoming and honest, they obtained a permit for us before starting the job and once here, the job was done in three days, they were incredibly clean, hard working and accommodating to the point that they accommodated our baby's nap schedule. They then helped us fill out our form to submit to the city for reimbursement of funds. All in all, they were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them.

General Contractor: Porch Encloser
We hired this contractor to enclose our porch and turn it into a mudroom. He quoted us $$14,500 for the job and asked for 5K deposit to buy materials. Within two days of starting work he told us that a decorative column which he removed to enclose the porch was crumbling and the brick needed to be replaced because it was supporting the whole structure. He was adamant that it needed to be done for safety and told us it will cost us another $800. We questioned him and consulted with another contractor and he then backtracked his comment. We noticed that he would only work a couple of hours a day but kept insisting that he was only doing our job and kept asking for additional money. He told us that he pre-paid the electrician $2,000 for the job already. When we stupidly pre-paid him for the next stage he stopped showing up. He also told us for a month that he was going to bring us a catalogue from which to chose our windows and then told us that the guy he uses doesn't have any catalogues. We became concerned that he wasn't doing the work and told him of our concerns, we also told him that we were going to order our windows and door separately from him. He swore up and down that he was going to finish the project in a week. That same day he came over, when he knew that we were going to be out of the house, removed all of his tools from our shed and has not returned our calls, voicemails, messages or emails. We also learned that contrary to what he told us, he only paid the electrician $300 to date. He comes off so earnest when you first speak with him but he is nothing but a crook. Do not trust him and whatever you do, do not use him.
