Toronto Home Comfort was contracted to install a new high efficiency furnace, AC & hot water tank in our home. In addition, we wanted the location moved in order to free up room in the basement rec room. They definitely know their stuff and have great products unfortunately I'm not overly happy with the way the work was done. The did a good job but they use separate installers who tend to move to quick and don’t always think their way through. When THC sent their inspector through to check the job he found numerous minor deficiencies, none really big but still! I would use them again, however, I’d be sure to be a little more picky and ensure they take the time to do it all the right way.

We contracted Ridley to install 11 new pocket style vinyl windows in our home. They sell a great product and price was reasonable. Sales staff were great – not to pushy and knew their stuff. We had a little difficulty getting the final measurements done (after many calls they finally came) but it didn’t slow down the installation. The installers did a nice job except for one small problem which was quickly corrected. I believe Ridley takes care of their higher priced wood window window projects ahead of the smaller vinyl ones so just keep on them and you’ll be happy you did.

The Home Service Club was great. For a very low fee they arranged for numerous quotes for both some drywall and plumbing work. The were very pleasant on the phone and the independent contractors called us back quickly. The contractors I ended up hiring were excellent – on time, on budget and great product. Home Service Club definitely saved me a lot of time – especially on the little things. I’ll continue to use them.

Avonlea performed a complete renovation on the upstairs bathroom in our 90 year old home. John and his group did a great job from the quote through to the completion. The guys were at the jobsite pretty much early each day and kept it clean and tidy. We ran into a couple problems which weren't in the original quote (some old galvanized lines and support beams that were cut through in previous reno's) and they correct the problems for a very reasonable cost. All and all top notch job. Bathroom is wonderful and works perfectly!
