We found our experience working with MGM Building & Renovations to be terrible, dreadful and extremely stressful. We hired MGM Building & Renovations to finish our basement and the owner and operator of MGM Building & Renovations promised us quick, efficient and fast work due to low season (November 2017). After receiving second installment (total eleven thousand dollars) only 20-25% job was completed based on our estimation. It took month and half of chasing MGM Building & Renovations and begging to resume work in the basement when the owner and operator of MGM Building & Renovations finally advised us that he cannot complete the job (January 2018). All our efforts to recover outstanding balance and flooring materials MGM Building & Renovations purchased with our money have been unsuccessful to the date. We feel we were robbed our money and to the date MGM Building & Renovations has been ignoring all our attempts to obtain refund. The owner and operator of MGM Building & Renovations came to our house, he met our family and we found he had no problem looking us in the eye and making dishonest promises to continue work and provide us with refund. Business mailing address he gave us was bogus as it was later confirmed by Canada Post. Hiring MGM Building & Renovations was the worst decision we ever made and we are currently pursuing legal action.
