Very simple, horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Will not return calls after the fact. Driveway all cracked after 5 months and no one willing to repair and/or return calls.

Sam, I am surprised by this comment as Northland ensures that each and every phone call is returned. I see that you posted on October 16 2006 - a Monday. Perhaps you had called multiple times over the weekend, when the office was closed. Rest assured, calls are returned promptly following the weekend. We have a tracking system in place to ensure that each call is handled. Do you have an answering machine? Please contact us with your address information so that we can follow up on the status of that claim.

Surely after 5 months your warrantee would have still been valid. If this was a warrantee claim, one of our representatives would have discussed with you the further steps. However, please be aware that not all cracking issues are the fault of the contractor and therefore are not covered by your warrantee. For example: tree roots (no contractor can control natures growth as any movement to the sub-base can influence the asphalt) or parking too close to the edge of the driveway without the benefit of curbs (the stress placed on the uninforced portion of your driveway will contribute to pre-mature cracking this is not the fault of the contractor).

Northland backs its warrantee program 100% and, as mentioned, is committed to customer satisfaction. I assure you that if your claim was brought to the attention of a Northland employee, and was deemed eligable for warrantee repair, it would most certainly have been addressed.
