Trying to find someone who could take care of various projects around my home, I turned to Homestars. I contacted Matt based on the reviews on Homestars and have to say the reviews were definitely accurate! Once I emailed him, Matt got back to me within a day and kept in constant communication, providing information about pricing, as we narrowed down a time for the work to be done/started, they worked two days and on the second day, were very good about accommodating specific timing I had. Matt, Rafael and John were punctual, professional, very courteous and did excellent work. Everything was cleaned up before they left. There were two holes in the living room ceiling and once Rafael was finished, it was impossible to tell where the holes were, really excellent. There was also a tile missing from around the tub, being very old tiles, new ones were bought and the entire area was re-tiled, Matt and John did amazing work on this, it again looks as good as new. The ongoing project is a door for a room, Matt suggested a sliding/barn door, which will work beautifully in the area. The door space has been roughed in, I am now in the process of choosing the door and hardware, again Matt followed up within two days in case I had any questions about this. While the original work was was being done, Matt found time to fix an outdoor light and install a new mailbox. Based on my experience, I would certainly highly recommend Matt, Rafael and John.
