We have 2 bedrooms with parquet that needed some repair, sanding, staining and varnishing. Sam gave us a good quote while Florian did a great job with the repairs and refinishing. Timing went as quoted and planned. As recommended, we allowed the varnish to cure for a week before replacing the baseboards and painting the walls. Thanks Sam & Florian. Great job.

I have around 1200 sq ft interlock patio that needed to be cleaned of old sealer, sanded and resealed. Put in a HomeStars request and received 4 responses. 3 came out, only 2 quoted and the 4th didn't follow up. The 2 quotes were very similar but I chose Mo since he offered me a discount so early in the season and also explained why parts of my sealed areas seemed faded. I was very comfortable with his attitude and professionalism He showed up on time each occasion, did a very good job and when he finished yesterday, told me to call today after the sealer had properly dried. He offered to correct any issues with no charge. I highly recommend Mosart Construction. I intend to contract with him to seal my driveway later this year.

I needed to resod my lawn and contacted HomeStars for quotes. I received three within a couple of hours, and I asked each one to set up an appointment. A few hours later, Yan at A & Y contacted me and we set up an appointment a few days hence. Another contacted me and we set up an appoint as well. The third company did not respond. Yan showed up pretty well on time, we had a nice chat and she measured the lawn and gave me a quote, saying she could schedule me for the following week if I chose her company. The second company was scheduled for the next day, but didn't show. I called him two hours later asking where he was, He told he he had some vehicle problems and would call back later. He did not. I called him again because I did want a comparative quote. He replied he would come before noon the next day. Did not show up and didn't even call. That evening, I called Yan and asked her to do the work. She said she would call the next day with a schedule. Next day she told ne she could do the job the following week. As promised, my bin showed up on time with Yan and her team an hour later as scheduled. That day they removed my old sod, laid the topsoil, and levelled the area. Next morning the sod arrived and the team laid all the sod, cleaned up perfectly, and did a great job. Since Yan also does interlock, I asked her to quote me on an addition to my existing patio. She gave me a good price and I promised her that if we decided to pursue this next year, we wold contract her for that project as well. All in all, I was impressed by her professional attitude, timeliness, great job, and promises kept. I couldn't ask for a better contractor and highly recommend her Company.

My driveway is around 1700 sq ft and I was less than satisfied with the Big Box products and the amount of time, muscle and materials required to seal it every few years. I sent out some queries and received four replies. Sebastian and Pablo called me and offered to come over the next day to evaluate and quote. I liked their price and the personal effort to come out and talk. (the other companies gave similar or higher prices, but none showed up). The following day I got a call that they could come by that afternoon and do the work. They took their time to do it right, and I was impressed by the fact that they double checked their work as they proceeded so as to ensure an even job. Highly recommend these folks and I'll be calling them when the time comes for a re-seal.

We needed new soffit vents, soffits, fascia, eaves and downspouts as our old ones were way past their due date. When we had our roof redone, we found that the original build did not have any holes in the soffits to allow for proper venting. We therefore needed to have holes cut in the plywood under the aluminum soffits. After talking with 4 different installers, we found Stas at Maxima to be the most friendly and approachable of those we interviewed. Maxima's pricing was slightly lower than the others, but it was his attitude that made us choose his company. When the weather finally allowed the work to proceed, Nick and his crew did a great job. The eaves were extruded on site for a perfect fit and they suggested better locations for the downspouts, both for practical and aesthetic reasons. Cleanup was important since we have lawns around the house and they picked up all the old screws and nails. All in all, a very professional job by a friendly and professional group of people.

Very professional all around. The team was focused on doing everything perfectly, with no shortcuts. Rarely do we see a crew work as cohesively and as disciplined as these men. They completed our 3300 sq ft roof in one day as promised, and left the grounds clean and swept. As I thanked each man for his work, one of them summed up their attitude with "This roof has my name on it, so I have to do my best". Thanks guys. Highly recommend homeowners to call Shamon or Koast if they need a new roof.
