We recently purchased Hunter Douglas Sonnette motorized roller blinds from Shades of Home for both our bedrooms (3 windows in all). Steve met us at our home and clearly guided us through the process of selecting the best blinds for our needs as well as a suitable colour for our decor. He carefully measured the window frames, suggesting just how the blinds should best be placed within the frame, and his measurements turned out to be absolutely accurate. He provided very competitive pricing on the product and kept us up to date on the order delivery time from Hunter Douglas. Steve was also very thoughtful and accommodating in arranging an installation time that fit with our schedule. The installation itself was done by Raj and his assistant and went flawlessly.

We were very impressed with the work done by Ron Kellner and his team. Ron was open and honest about costs, worked to save us money wherever possible and completed the project on time. All of his tradespeople did excellent quality work and everyone was a pleasure to deal with. Ron's recommendations along the way were very helpful and added to the beauty and value of our home. Ron always listened to us and communicated with us regularly throughout the project. It is rare to find a contractor in Toronto who ensures top quality, is terrific to deal with, is completely honest and transparent, and ensures the best outcomes for the homeowner. The company tells you everything clearly at the beginning, so there are no surprises later. For example, the customer is never charged for the movers' lunch breaks. We were very impressed with the recent work done by E. W. Smith Roofing. Earl Smith was prompt with his estimates and his team (Brad & others) arrived on time and worked quickly and carefully to get the job done. They even took pictures of our roof at each stage of the work. They did not take shortcuts like other companies do. After each day, they cleaned up and left our property looking very clean and neat. Trust is very important in the roofing business and we strongly recommend Earl Smith and his team on the basis of their honesty, reliability, quality of workmanship, courtesy and competitive pricing.
