We contacted Rafael at Homebuild because we wanted to replace our front door and rebuild the front entrance enclosure. Rafael recommended a door supplier, which worked out just fine, and coordinated his team's construction with the door supply. The work was completed as scheduled, on time, and with minimal extra work (renovations always uncover unknowns, and the only issue encountered by Rafael was dealt with quickly and at minimal cost, to our satisfaction). Throughout, Rafael was an excellent communicator, keeping us informed at every step of the process and consulting with us (and providing good advice) whenever there was a question. The workers in his team were competent, friendly and respectful at all times. In facilitating door installation by the supplier, Rafael's team removed the existing exterior siding, then installed new Hardie board siding, replaced a column and installed a new doorbell. Every effort was made to minimize construction dust getting into our house, and to maintain a clean and safe worksite. Rafael himself was a pleasure to deal with. We were doing a full basement renovation so had to move everything out of the basement and into the garage. We called Arby Cartage, who had helped us move a few years ago, and they were as great as we remembered. Anil and crew were polite and courteous, did exactly as we asked, organized everything in the garage so we can find things, and did all this in less time than we had thought was needed. Thanks Anil and crew!

Northshore replaced the eavestrough (with leafguard), soffit (with LED lights) and fascia on our home. Our experience was excellent with the estimator, the field crew and the head office staff. Nice folks to deal with! The work is similarly very good, and a couple of minor touch-ups were done quickly and to our full satisfaction.

We selected Arby Cartage to move our household goods (we did all the packing in advance) because their price was reasonable and their ratings on Homestars were excellent. We are happy that we selected Arby. Anil was personable, open, and good to his word in everything he promised. His quotation was comprehensive and considerate of our needs. The crew was friendly and very careful handling our possessions and navigating the freshly finished floors and painted walls of our new home. We moved on a bad weather day and the crew split the duty between wet and dry side of the front door, to avoid tracking in the muck. They were careful to lay down runners everywhere indoors as well. When it looked like they might not finish on time, Anil called in reinforcements (another truck and a couple of able bodies) and everything was completed on time and for the price originally quoted. We don't plan to move again but, if we do, we would use Arby Cartage again -- possibly asking them to do the packing for us as well!
