I contacted Maxaire.ca for a regular furnace cleaning and maintenance. They were great - the technician did a lot of tuning and analysis that I hadn't seen done before in my previous home. I think this service was superior to what I have purchased in the past. I would definitely recommend Maxaire.

I have hired Aaron and Toronto Tree Removal on multiple occasions ranging from the emergency tree limb removal noted in the title of this review, to regular, non-urgent tree pruning to maintain tree health. I can vouch for Toronto Tree Removal as a terrific tree maintenance contractor. For my emergency service, after an ice storm, Aaron and his team were the fastest respondents to take down a huge, dangerous limb that had broken away from the trunk of my neighbor's enormous Chinese Elm, which was hanging over my back yard. At this time, Aaron was also able to give me guidance on how to deal with this problem tree given my neighbor's unwillingness to maintain the tree properly and ensure it was safe. I also appreciated the integrity that Aaron showed in not taking advantage of the ice storm situation to over-inflate the cost of the work. For regular, discretionary work, I can confirm what other reviews here say regarding the cost-competitive rates this company quotes for work. And, their work is always excellent, the crews are very professional and friendly. And I've benefited from the guidance and answers to my questions I've received from Aaron and his team.

The air conditioning unit on a 2 year old home wasn't working properly during this heat wave. I called Max on Sunday night and he was able to fit in a service call for Monday. He topped up the Freon level, and explained the most likely reasons for it being low. He also adjusted our blower motor speed and gave me some insight and answers to HVAC questions I had. I'd recommend Max and I plan on having him back for annual check ups and maintenance on our system.

A Budget installed my air conditioner about 13 years ago. I thought they did a fine job and I thought the installers were great. I had A-Budget in twice more to do 2 minor repairs done on the unit - 9 years and 13 years after installation. The service technicians were very good both times. I've never submitted a review to HomeStars before, but my experience has been quite positive and so different from other reviews I've read, that I signed up to submit this review. I've found the company reps honest, capable, on-time and price competitive.
