PRE-SALE:
We had been looking for kitchen appliances for some time, both on the internet and at several retailers. It became clear the CAS offered prices that were more than competitive for similar brand-name appliances. It also offered a comprehensive selection which made comparing features of various brands relatively easy. My only concern was that, in some cases, prices seem to change almost daily.
DECISION DAY:
We had pretty much made the decision to visit CAS for the purpose of making our final purchase decisions. We were assisted by Gary, who proved to be most helpful, providing advice and assistance without being overbearing. The overall transaction went very smoothly and we we confident we had ordered the best appliances for our needs and budget.
DELIVERY:
While the fridge, stove, and dishwasher were not urgent, we needed the microwave, which we were able to pick up from the store. We arranged for delivery of the remainder, which took about two weeks as the fridge was on order. The delivery charge was a very affordable $59. The appliances arrived spot on the promised time and the crew was fast, efficient and friendly, taking away all the packing materials, which we appreciated.
WARRANTY ISSUE:
When we unpacked the microwave, we noticed a small indentation on the stainless steel fascia of the door. We contacted our salesman, Gary, who despatched the required claim form which we filled and returned. He then ran with the ball, co-ordinating the door's replacement and installation with Samsung. After short wait period, a technician appeared with the new door which he installed.
OVERALL:
The whole process with CAS was smooth, friendly, and efficient.
On the day of our transaction, I checked other retailers' websites and found the for identical items, we saved over $700 compared to the best local price I could find.
