Dont recommended this contractor
I would not recommend this contractor at this time. Was very pleasant at the start but once issues arose on the job he became very hard to deal with as you can see by his review of our previous review. Work completed was very beautiful but on a personable level this contractor became very hard to speak with.

Customer received their custom made cedar fence. All lumber was custom milled to make it a truly one of a kind work of art. (5/4 x6 cedar boards cut to true 5/4x 4") Cedar fence was stained FOR FREE !
Customer then asked me to remove patio stones and install grass. Initial quote included 1 ton of soil to be brought in. After further investigation, it was discovered that there was over 4 tons of gravel under their stepping stone walkway. The quote for sod installation was of course changed to reflect the change in scope of work. This customer called me, swearing at me over the phone ! Insisting I stay true to my original quote. I re iterated that it was not possible as there were 5 tons of material to be removed, and the scope of work changed. Customer said that was not their problem and started swearing at me over the phone. At which point I hung up on her.
Customer also withheld payment for a job completed in full/on time and with free extras (fence and free staining)
Total cost of work done was around $1700 not $3000 as customer has stated.Customer refuses to listen to professional advice. An ESTIMATE was provided ($700 approximately) not a quotation. If situations change, (4.37 tons of gravel instead of 1 ton) then the price changes. (2185.00 included removal of all old gravel new sod installation plus large square cut flagstone stepping stones)
Customer wanted extra work to be done at no extra cost and was upset when I refused to do work at a loss, and then accuses me of bad manners when she swears at me over the phone. Then doesn't pay her bill for work done in good faith, on time and on budget plus extra free work. Unreal.
No work on patio was ever completed. Stones were removed and stacked neatly. Customer never paid for this. After a revised estimate, customer did not wish to proceed. I offered to replace the stepping stones free of charge, customer said NO. Customer then withheld payment for cedar fence for a long time. Original cedar fence quote did not include staining. Once they paid for the fence (1.5 months later) their fence was stained for free. You cannot review a service that was not provided or paid for. Utter nonsense.
