A small job repairing/replacing a flat roof above a front porch. I had very poor to no responses from a variety of vendors (seemingly not interested in small jobs or quoting ridiculous amounts) until I had an excellent response from Joyce of Star Moon Roofing. She communicated effectively and regularly. She and her husband visited the site and while her husband suggested recaulking, I requested replacing the old materials and adjusting the slope for better drainage. I was quoted a reasonable $2800. I agreed and they were able to complete the work within two days of visiting. The work site was cleaned and looks great.

A friend recommended Gator. Met Beatrice and her mom. Requested Tilt/Turn windows. Family run business -excellent responses. Communicated by e-mail, receiving quotations, one brother came to measure and finalize quote, the other brother and his son came to install the windows. They were efficient, prompt, clean and thorough. This is a third generation business and I am happy to say I would recommend them without reservation. The windows from Strassburger work well and meet my expectations.

I communicated with Gary by e-mail over the course of 5 weeks. His estimate was reasonable, responses to my questions prompt. I decided to give the job based on gut sense. Thanks to Trevor and Dwayne who came to install what proved to be a challenge. They completed the task efficiently, effectively, and politely.
