This was the ABSOLUTE WORST moving company I have EVER dealt with. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. When we booked the movers we let them know in advance that we had the elevators booked until 6pm. Our condo does not allow move-ins after 6pm on the weekends. They assured us that they would arrive a half our earlier than we expected so that we could get all of our stuff into the truck with extra time to spare. They called us that day to let us know that they were going to be there by 3pm latest, however, they ended up being an hour late. This gave us 2 hours to get packed and unpacked. During this time, we called the company repeatedly about the urgency of deadlines and they assured us that the movers were quick and efficient and could get the job done easily within an hour and a half. Feeling worried for time regardless, we ended up moving all of our boxes from the 25th floor of our apartment to the loading dock ourselves to speed up the process. When the movers finally did arrive, we told them that we needed everything packed up ASAP because we were running out of time for the elevators. Two out of the three men were upstairs getting the larger furniture, and the third man (who we paid extra to make the process quicker) sat downstairs doing nothing. This was taking so long that again, we had to help them bring the remaining objects downstairs. Still, it took them TWO HOURS to pack up everything from our 650 sqft apartment, even with 90% of the work already being done for them. They even took a 15 minute BREAK at 5:45 when we had to be there for 6! By this point, it was after 6pm and we arrived at the condo (which was only a 2 minute drive down the street) and we lost our elevators. We called the company to express our dissatisfaction because we had lost the elevators and we could not get them until Monday, This essentially left us homeless for 2 days. They refused to store our furniture, and wanted us to pay extra for the trip to the storage facility, the unloading and re-loading of the furniture, and the trip from the storage facility back to the condo on Monday. Obviously, this was not going to fly. We requested to speak to a manager because this was extremely unfair, but the agents on the phone kept hanging up on us, or promising to call us back (but never following up). While we were trying to find some kind of resolution, the movers refused to let us have anything off the truck unless we paid them in full. We had no where to move our things to, and could not afford to store our stuff for 2 days PLUS pay for a hotel, so they were essentially holding all of our things hostage until we gave them all their money and we remained homeless. Luckily for us, we had an amazing security guard who saw the commotion and risked his job to extend the elevator for one more hour under the radar. Because it took them two hours to pack the truck in the first place, we had to help do more work to get everything off the truck and into the apartment. They left some of the big furniture out in the hallway and refused to help get it through the door. When 7:00 finally came, we only had the big furniture in the apartment, and the men through up their hands and said "we're done" and refused to do any more work. We would spend the next few hours getting all the small boxes into the apartment ourselves. The most ridiculous part of the entire day, was after all of this, they had the AUDACITY to ask for a tip. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Zero stars. Outrageously poor service. You would be better off renting a U-haul and doing all the work yourself.

A detailed e-mail correspondence has been sent to customer which address all concerns. We would like this opportunity to lightly explain this case here. 3 movers with truck package, with minimum 3 hrs. moving charge, the actual move took 3.5 hours. We are known for our excellent office staff. Even thought we understand moving can be a stressful, but when we encounter foul language and are unable to communicate properly, our office staffs are allowed to disconnect the phone. Lastly, we provide FREE storage up to 3 days for all customers, however, customers are responsible to pay unloading and loading of the truck.
