We recently downsized from a 3000 SF house in Dunbar to a 1500 SF half-duplex in Kits and had great service from You Move Me. After meeting with three moving companies, we chose to go with You Move Me and are very happy we made that decision. Our move was difficult - more than 100 boxes/crates plus furniture to move, and interior and exterior stairs to deal with in both locations - but the You Move Me crew of 3 was up to the challenge. The movers were pleasant, careful and efficient, and went above and beyond to make the move go smoothly. They completed the move in just over 6 hrs and all items arrived safely. The service was excellent and the cost reasonable. The other two moving companies we consulted gave fixed price quotes while You Move Me gave an estimate based on an hourly rate. The quotes were wildly different: Ferguson was the highest at over $3700, the second company quoted $2600 and You Move Me estimated the cost would be around $1750 based on their hourly rate for 3 movers and a 5-ton truck. The final cost was a few hundred dollars less than the estimate because our very efficient crew completed the move in less time than estimated. All in all, we had a great crew, found the cost reasonable for a move this size, and are happy to recommend You Move Me.

We had a short timeline to get an inspection done on a home we are hoping to purchase. Paul replied promptly to my email and was able to do the inspection the next day. He arrived on time and proceeded to do a very careful and thorough inspection of all exterior and interior areas of the home. He was agreeable to having my partner walk through the house with him during the inspection which was very helpful in terms of understanding exactly what the areas of concern are and how to deal with them. As promised, Paul reviewed his findings with us at the conclusion of the inspection and he emailed a digital copy of the report shortly thereafter. This included general information on the condition of the house and detailed information on issues found during the inspection. We are very satisfied with Paul's services and recommend him without reservation.
