I'd actually used the review above as a reference even though it was a little stale. In talking to them, things seemed decent. I'd made it clear that I didn't mind spending money for good quality and insisted that they "build it as if it was their own" when it came time to the specific details. The tear down and everything was done pretty efficiently and as mentioned above the material was cleaned up. The deck building overall was probably a 4-5 or better until I later would discover that they hadn't fixed the fact the ledger board is nailed to the house. I'm not sure if they even checked- which for an elevated deck that was being torn down and almost started from scratch- would have been the first thing done. The fence was where we drop down to a 2 and where I would NOT recommend these guys to anyone. The fence was put in well- and in decent time... but all the material was just dumped in our back yard. Our neighbours (in their 70s) also had a gate put in at the same time and so much clay was piled up in front of his gate he couldn't open it. I thought maybe it was another crew or something that would come back later and pick it up... but we never heard from them again. I remain extremely disappointed since I was under the impression we had a good working relationship throughout the transaction. In that I had been highly presumptuous and should have been paying more attention.
