One wheel came off the track Wednesday evening. Looked up Google on Thursday and phoned to ask whether work can be done on Saturday. Yes, time slot 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. While I thought this was how fast it can be done, in fact it was the time slot for the technician to arrive. Sure enough he arrived from the Concord branch around 1:30 pm, looked at the problem give us a quote and upon agreement when to work. Vince replaced all 10 rollers in the door and completed the work by 2:15 pm. All very happy with the quick work and the door opens very quiet on nylon rollers. Preparing for winter cold I tested my snowblower and it wouldn't start. When it finally started it would quickly. I remember seeing small engine repair during our walk so we dropped in to inquire. John suggested possible problems. And estimate. I took the machine to Express. John replaced the carberator and other necessary wearing out parts. Feels like new. Starts with 1 pull.. Now bring on the snow.

This is the forth time I called Dunlop Roofing. The first time was through recommendation to do my house. The second time was at my sister's house following an evening of heavy rain and wind. The third time it was at my daughter's house, again rain and strong wind. After a neighbour kindly patched up missing tiles called Dunlop to check it out. Was OK. And this forth time just weeks ago to replace the roofing and add more ventilation at the facia.

Following my first contact, Greg's response was immediate. Following email exchanges and sending of photos of the deterioration of the planter walls Greg must have visited the site to send a quote and request for down payment. This was made the next day and the work was done the next day. I'd say blinding fast service. We were all please with the appearance of the restoration Couple of years needing to get the work done and problems finding a "handy-man" or lawn person looking up "masonry" was a jack-pot.

True test will come this year 2018 and winter 2018 -2019. Looking forward to this fall when all the leaves fall. LeafGuard is supposed to clean it out if leaves clog it. Last winter-spring icicles developed, some were large. Will see what happens this winter.

We noticed staining on the ceiling which stayed about the same for a long time We didn't know where the roof was leaking as the singles and roofing looked OK. In addition, we were never sure whether there was sufficient venting in the attic after having had additional insulation added years ago. Called Alan to resolve the questions for us. Alan was very courteous and went immediately to inspect the roof and found the leak at the lower part of a vent. He also asked for something the cover the area and went to work nailing in the temporary cover. Alan also called Donenic of Dunlop Roofing with our need of new roofing, replacing plywood where necessary and especially to ensure good attic venting with baffles which we accepted. During the work it was found that the plywood behind the venting in the aluminum soffit was not open and the crew had to manually cut open the plywood to open up an actual vent. Extra vents were also installed in the roof. So far we did not have to turn on our A/C during the hot days. It's not only Alan's courteousness and professionalism but his contacts allows the completion of the suggested work with the minimum running around looking for the appropriate company.
