So I found this company on homestars. This has been a very busy year for renovations for me. These were the last of my contractors that I used. I had my roof reshingled, a/c installed, windows and doors replaced, window coverings, home alarm system and finally the evestrough, facia, soffits and some vinyl siding. Quite a lot in 1.5 months, everyone of the contractors that I hired I found here on this site and was not disappointed with the quality of the contractors that I hired. Now onto Alberta Evestroughing, a great company to deal with. Their price was on the higher side of all the quotes I received, but I chose them due to comments from other posts that the workmanship was second to none and the comments were absolutely correct. The guys that came out to do the job were fantastic and extremely helpful, not only did they do the work I originally had planned but they did extra work that really made my house look great. They only slightly negative comment is that it would have been nice to have spent some time with Nick the owner to really evaluate the job, we spoke over the phone and email, had we met in person we could have discussed all the work that his guys did. Now that being said and I stress this, I had 5 companies come and give me quotes and I only saw one guy directly everyone else just dropped their quote in my mail box or sent me an email. Which is ok, but speaking directly with someone and getting feedback on your project I believe is imperative. Nicks guys were great they gave me feedback and said yes they could fix the extra items and helped me with the decision to go ahead and do the work without knowing what the extra charges would be. I trusted that I wouldn't get screwed based on the integrity of the contractors. Best decision I made a mental note of what I thought it should cost and I was within 50$ of what I was charged. So, these guys were great, made sure that my dogs stayed in the yard and they did beautiful work. Heck my Dad was even impressed and he used have his own renovation business. These guys popped by one day after I had new windows and doors installed. I had been putting off installing an alarm system until getting the windows and doors. I just happened in my favour they showed up when that job was completed. I now have security and video feeds on my property and protection for my pets. I liked that vivent makes their own equipment and stands by their work. I also like the response time when an alarm is triggered, I accidentally set the alarm off in the garage one day and within a few minutes my phone was ringing asking if I was okay, great service. The monthly monitoring fees are at the upper end of the price range, but I get great service so remember you get what you pay for! I appreciate the fact that this company cares for my safety and security and not just worried about collecting monthly fees. The salesman was a typical sales person a lot of fluff, some substance, the install guys were great they figured out a problem that was occurring in the video feed and now the system is great. When I tried contacting the sales rep about the issue he never returned my call or text ever and that is why I added the fluff comment.

I recently hired this company to replace all of my windows and doors. The windows were installed very well, I am extremely pleased with the new bay window! My dogs love it also. The install was timely and workmanship was second to none. Everyone was exceptional to deal with from sales to install.

I read through the previous reviews for Blind Magic and found people's opinions to be very well written and accurate. I received a quote within a couple of days and Amina was extremely helpful in choosing the right vertical blind and horizontal blind for my new windows. The installer was on time and did a very good job installing the new blinds, he cleaned up everything and I am extremely happy with my new blinds.

I found this company on Homestars and read the reviews and was impressed with reviews. Scott came out gave a quote and found the best spot to place the A/C Unit. Furnace Solutions had the best price and warranty for the product compared to the other 2 companies that came out and gave quotes. Tim and Brandon came out on the scheduled day and did a fantastic job. I have a home that was built in the 1940's so it was not the easiest install. The guys had to work through a crawl space to do the work. Great job everyone! I will be calling in the future for any other work that I need and also recommending their services to others. Great Job Dom, Thanks for your good work on my house. I found Dominick's company as they were doing another roofing job in my neighbourhood and they did a great job on that house. The guys were great on the cleanup of the yard and looked after any issues that I had about the roof, my home was built in the 1940's so I was concerned about rot and damage. The guys found none! I have used this company three times in the past and had excellent service my replacement furnace works great to this day, so I decided to add air purification and an air conditioner so I asked for a quote and book online for someone to come and see me. No one showed up and did not receive a phone call as to why. I did receive a confirmation notice saying that someone was going to come but no one showed. I guess my business is not that valued. So I will find someone else to do the work. Because of past experiences I probably would have just got them to do the work and not shopped around for a better price. I won't be calling them back!

I have used robartelectric twice now and had a great experience both times. Once for a panel upgrade and another for a repair from a fallen tree over a power line. Rob was fantastic to work with and his guys are top notch. Rob is now my go to guy for electrical services from now on. Richard
