PLEASE - DO NOT ORDER FURNITURE FROM Sears Canada !!!! In April I ordered a media dresser from the Sears store on Glenmore in Calgary. I wait over 6 hours on the arranged delivery date and it never showed up. After a long frustrating phone call, I was finally told that it wasn't delivered due to being damaged. I guess no one at Sears delivery has a phone to let the customer know about this. Then I was told that I would have to call the store and reorder. When I did this, the new delivery date was too late for when I needed it. so May 2 I cancelled the order and was told no problem - credit card will be refunded. Today is June 2 and I still have not received the credit on my credit card. I have called multiple times and am always told it takes 7-10 business days (who are they kidding - in 2015 it takes 24-48 hours max for other retailers). I have tried unsuccessfully to reach someone who might be able to do something. Any suggestions what my next step should be? I hate to embarrass my kids by being arrested for making a scene at the store but I am considering a flat out meltdown in the store, perhaps on a busy Saturday!!!
