I want to say big THANK YOU to Tina, store manager at Mississauga location.
Because of a bad experience with Bad Boy in the past I have said that I would never bay anything from this company. We are redecorating, and I spend hours and days looking for furniture on-line and at the different stores. Finally, I found sofa and love seat that I liked, we purchased it and when it was delivered I realised they gave me floor model.
(It looks like all stores are doing same thing-you purchase a new item, they deliver floor model usually damaged, if you don't notice before delivery people are gone, they blame you for damages. I have learned from bad experience to inspect everything while delivery people are there, and return it to the store if there is any concern. Recently we had same experience with LEON's and washer we bought.)
When I called store they told me to keep furniture and manager will call me later. I refused it and send everything back. When Tina called she told me they are delivering floor models because manufacturer is not making these couches any more (in my opinion they should call me before delivery and ask if it is OK with me to send me floor model and the price should be reduced). She gave me option to get money back or accept floor model with discount, but I was so upset and decided to take money back.
I was so upset that I have to it all over again, spending time looking for new furniture, and sitting on the floor because our old couches were gone.
I was so upset that I gave them second chance and they messed up again, so I called head office and spoke to someone from customer service.Person was not willing to
listen, told me to deal with store manager, was very ignorant and when I told her that I am shocked with customer service, she said that she actually works for warranty office.
Now comes Tina. She called me, was very patient and understanding; she reassured me that everything will be OK with my furniture and promise if anything is wrong she will be there to help me.She made sure that somebody inspect the couches before they send them to us, and arranged delivery in 2 days.
I was still worried and stressed out, but my furniture arrived today and it looks good. I am going to call Tina now to say big thank you to her for doing outstanding job.
I am writing this hoping that someone from Bad Boy higher management reading those reviews and that they have some way of recognizing and awarding their employees-if yes, Tina should be recognized for customer excellence.
