I am in the commercial /residential appliance trade Mike is one of the rare electricians that actually understands his job most electricians do not fully comprehend anything other than basic hookups and minor repairs and when something out of the ordinary happens they are at a loss i met mike 15 years ago and had a discussion and knew right away from talking to him this fellow is good at his job and understands electricity since that time he is the only electrician i recommend and i occasionally contact mike for answers for customers questions pertaining to his field

they advertise appliance electronics repair specialist spoke with them over phone gave them the part # had to advise them what supplier to go to to find part # (this is not a special product ) advised them i have all specs,codes wiring for faulty parts from mfg advised them what was required to test was advised they do not work that way to me i took it as they do not test there repairs they did answer phone but when i asked to speak with a tech that repairs electronics i do not believe this happened as the lady i was speaking with did not seem to comprehend basic operation and had no interest on me sending her direct info from mfg that i could access being an authorized servicer for that manufacture

as a business owner i consider home stars a form of blackmail customers can post false complaints and post this without verification further more home stars does not have a customer service line that is answered and tries to sell packages to business using bad publicity 05/28/15 i was rather surprised you posted my complaint although i do not agree with the way homestars operates i am impressed that you would post complaints against yourself for this reason i am changing rating from 0 thank you for posting and responding ian
