Avoid - Damaged windows and doors
Mirza came door-to-door while in the neighbourhood, selling window washing services, and siding cleaning. I agreed. One of his team members took on the work. When reviewing the work, I noticed that there were scratches all over the siding of the windows and doors. They both said that the scratches were there before. Which they weren't. Then Mirza suggested that I try and reproduce the issue with the brush. So I took the brush, and it immediately scratched our siding further. After this, Mirza blamed his employee and was rude to him when in fact it was his equipment that was faulty. Mirza then tried to say that it was somehow not his fault and we still needed to pay for the work, which I said no. He left, and came back, then admitted that it was his equipment's fault and that he'd find someone to repair the damage they caused. That was over 3 months ago. Since then, it has been excuse after excuse. I've been told that painters are too expensive and that he'd get to it in September (now says he will get to it in November). Then he asked me to source the painter myself and pay for the painter, and that he would reimburse me. I've declined the offer because nothing will fit within the budget that he's decided on (less that $800). We're eating the cost and lesson learned.
