I was looking to achieve a couple of factors with awnings for my home. Along with the obvious shelter awnings provide, it was a great opportunity to add a some detailing or 'dressing up' of this standard little bungalow, and at the same time conceal the wall mounted A/C unit next to the side door from view. As with so many of these small bungalows, the clearance above the front door is very small and makes style choices very limited. It was a tricky area to work something into while considering the need for adequate rain slope yet not too deep to interfere with head room when entering the house. It was also important to me that the style be in keeping with a residential application. This is where Streetside Signs skill and experience made all the difference. Working from just my basic concept and a sketch, suggestions were made, we worked out some modifications, then they were able to create a perfect solution for this challenging project. I now have a beautiful awning installed over the front door that has all the factors that were important to me, right down to the font of the lettered house number which is imprinted across the front. The Quarter Ball design that was suggested for my side door also looks great and hides the A/C unit well. I was so pleased to see how my new awnings give the house that added touch of styling I was hoping for. I am very pleased with every aspect of my experience with Streetside Signs.
