Matts work FAR exceeded what we had expected for this job. We are not just delighted with the result; we are amazed at how fortunate we are to have had the pleasure of Matts quiet, clean, and efficient presence in our home, his creative problem solving to address our issues, and his excellent skills completing our electrical upgrade. We couldnt recommend him more highly. Because of some changes made to improve our energy efficiency (solar; electric hwt) and a switch from gas to an induction cooktop, we needed to wire a new 40A circuit in order to reconnect the wall oven but the 100A panel on our 1980s home couldnt handle it. We needed to upgrade to 200A. Because the oven is at the exact opposite corner of the house from the panel, we knew the job was going to be ugly. During Matts visit to quote the job, he offered creative solutions we hadnt heard from the three other contractors who also quoted, solutions that would save money and minimize the mess wed have to clean up when all the holes had been made. That creative thinking is what got him the job. If wed seen his work, the creativity would have been a bonus because his work is exemplary and stands on its own. We were impressed immediately when Hydro came to turn the power off first thing in the morning; Matt had booked the appointment to ensure he got the days first call so he could begin work right away. It was back on by mid-afternoon with the new panel installed, a completely clean area, and no ugly to patch up. Matts work had required only two holes which he covered with near-invisible plates. If any friends or neighbours ask us to recommend an electrician, it will be Matts contact info we will share.

We needed to reconnect a heating duct the previous owners had disconnected when they installed a doorway. We'd not realized it was disconnected when we closed the wall before moving in some years ago. David opened the wall, installed new ducting and: Ta! Da! We finally have heat in the upstairs ensuite!! The wall was repaired, drywall finished, the site cleaned up, and all back to normal in two days. Thanks so much to Dave for the great work and to HomeStars and its reviewers for helping us find him! Not only was the work first rate, he was a pleasure to work with and responsive to specific materials requests we made.

Mark came to correct some problems I'd created for myself. A small job, he still made himself available the day after I connected with him. And he fixed not only my mistake but identified those made by the previous homeowner and fixed them, too. The price was less that what I deserved for playing with wires I had no business messing with! I would highly recommend him; his knowledge, prompt response, reasonable fee, and happy-to-help attitude mitigated my embarrassment and fixed the issue quickly and perfectly!

We used Enio twice. Both times, visible problems were dismissed or not noted: improper grading leading to flooding; stachybotrys (black) mould; rodent infestation; dangerous wiring. Home inspections need professional standards.
