What happened there? Company was not able to install product. They could have offered a few options to rectify the problem. Not very satisfied. But ok, I guess. I paid.

Chris I would like to thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding your experience with our company.

I investigated the situation with our team. They reported to me that you purchased the thermostat on your own from a store and tried to install it yourself. When that didn't work you called us to request assistance and you were told that there would be a charge for our service technician to visit your home, which is the Diagnostic Fee. You agreed to pay this and our technician was sent.

Once on site the technician attempted a number of things to configure it to work in conjunction with your equipment. However this was unsuccessful and he determined that the thermostat was in fact damaged as a result of your initial improper installation.

When a thermostat is purchased and through our company the customer receives a 1 Year Labour Warranty and 5 Year Warranty on thermostat.
