WE USED THE SERVICES OF OGRADY GARDEN AND LANDSCAPING THIS SPRING AND WERE NOT HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF THE WORK. THE SCOPE INCLUDED LAWN REPAIR, GARDEN CLEAN UP, PRUNING AND PLANT TRANSPLANTATION AND INSTALLATION. THE LAWN REPAIR AND GARDEN CLEAN UP WAS COMPLETED WELL BUT ALL PLANTS WHICH WERE TRANSPLANTED AND INSTALLED DIED. WE HAD AN EXISTING HEDGE IN FRONT OF OUR WINDOW WHICH GOT DESTROYED TOO. IN ADDITION, THE PRUNING WASN'T DONE PROPERLY. WE LOST MONEY ON PAYING FOR THE LABOR AND ON THE PLANTS WHICH DIED. WE NEEDED TO HIRE OTHER GARDENER TO REMOVE THE DEAD PLANTS AND BUY AND ISNTAL NEW ONES. WE ALSO HAD TO PAY FOR PRUNING AGAIN AS OGRADY HAS DONE SHAPING NOT PRUNING. WE CONTACTED OGRADY VIA EMAIL A COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER WE PAID AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEMS. WE DID NOT HEAR FROM HIM. AT THE VERY LEAST HE SHOULD HAVE PROVIDED A REPLY TO OUR EMAIL AND SOME SORT OF COMPENSATION. WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WORKING WITH HIM.

We just worked with Budget and Save to paint our basement suite in North Vancouver. The owner Kerry is a delight to work with. He came on site promptly to provide us with a personalized quote which was very competitive and then kept to his promise regarding start and end date of the project. He used the highest possible quality paint and applied it perfectly. Our place looks brilliant in its new white look ( a color which is very hard to apply without leaving brush marks, yet he did it right). He also sent professional cleaners to take care of the floors after completing the job. Overall, we had a great experience and will certainly hire him again when we need a painter.
