3/10

We are very disappointed in the performance of this product and the service and will not recommend all weather windows. Last winter when it was cold, we had a huge layer of frost in between and all the way up the seam of our new slider windows. We could not open the windows. We had our humidity very very low, so it was not a result of too much humidity. We were told with sliders we would have some frost in the corners, however this was thick frost all along the seam. It is also a safety issue. We have contacted all weather and were told someone would contact us, but we have not heard from anyone. Other contractors have told us that it is not right to have that much frost on the inside of the window. We need a large picture window this year, and have gone with another window company and will not use Allweather nor recommend them.

Company Response

Doug, I apologize if someone from All Weather has not been in communication with you if we had committed to contacting you. This is not acceptable and not how we handle customer service.
In regards to having very low humidity, it is always a matter of perception and we have had circumstances where a homeowner has 40% humidity in their home and they wonder why they have condensation on windows in -25 degree weather. Our windows do not ice up under normal conditions.
Doug, you did not leave your last name so I am not able to contact you but I would invite you to call me directly and I will have your windows inspected and ensure they are performing as they should. We will also perform a humidity test and give some helpful tips if this turns out to be the cause. Best Regards, Trevor Derewlanka. Regional Manager of Renovations.
