This company is owned and operated by an individual Tony $$$$. He dropped off flyers in our neighbourhood promoting his service. When we responded to his flyer, he promptly showed up at our house. he provided an estimate for the season with a service guarantee. We signed up and paid with two post dated cheques. Both these cheques were promptly cashed. he showed up after the first snowfall of the season after I called him a couple of times. He stated that he forgot to add our address to his customer route. However, after that he did not show up for the rest of the season 2010-2011. Calls to the company phone are not answered or returned back.

I used 5 Star Services for replacing bathroom fixtures such as shower and commode. They performed quality service on time and as promised. They even performed a thorough cleanup after they finished the renovation work. I would recommend them to everyone.

I responded to their promotion for garage door inspection. (see my previous review). After a few days, my garage door malfunctioned... I called for their warranty. The receptionist told me their warrantee technician only works certain days of the week and only during 9-5. I made the appointment and made sure someone was home to receive the technician. The technician showed up two hours BEFORE the appointment. Luckily, my wife was home. He inspected the garage door and stated the work required was not covered in their warrantee. He booked another appointment a couple of days later when he actually fixed the door. The parts provided by them are pricy.

This company is owned & operated by a crook named Tony. He dropped flyers in my neighbourhood using the name of a reputable snow removal company in another city. He showed up only to collect money but NEVER showed up to deliver any snow removal service as contracted. After collecting money, he does not even answer calls. AVOID HIM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

I have retained lawn care services from Friendly Landscaping for past several years. This is a family owned and operated small business. The owner, Bob, is a very responsible person who takes pride in his work. He is always on time. Impressed by his work, my neighbours also subscribed to the lawn care services from Friendly Landscaping.

I received a flyer in the mail for a garage door tune-up promotion for $49. I called and verified if there are any additional costs, and he clearly confirmed NONE! He explained it will take an hour for the tune up using a special lubricant, and the technician will show me how I can do it myself in future. So I accepted the offer. BIG MISTAKE. He came by, he was in such a rush! Took him less tha five minutes to visually inspect the door, pull out a spray can and spray the spring and the hinges. DONE. Then he turns around and suggests I replace a roller, and why replace one, should replace ALL of them. Charged me $120 + Tax for the rollers, BUYER BE WARE!

These guys are always on time and deliver a quality service. Their price is fair and reasonable. They work in the North York area. I enjoy their services and I recommend them to everyone.
