I purchased a new air conditioner in August 2016 from Cozy Comfort. Shortly after it was installed I found out they installed a 2010 unit instead of a current model. Cozy Comfort said they were not aware it was a 2010 model. I had discussions with Brian at Cozy Comfort and in the end they replaced the 2010 unit with a 2016 unit. The installation people were very nice and efficient. I am happy that Cozy Comfort took the steps to fix the problem to my satisfaction.

First and foremost, we want to apologize for not meeting your expectation throughout the sales transaction. Unfortunately, it’s an oversight on our part which we did not review the date in which the unit was built. We usually purchase our units by the model number. After this was brought to our attention, we consulted the manufacturer on the matter at once, to confirm whether or not the unit was up to standard. They assured us that the unit is exactly the same and there was no changes to this unit. The warranty start date begins on the day of installation, so you are actually covered for ten years on parts. Furthermore, we will be reviewing our inventory and sales process to prevent this from ever happening in the near future.
