We used VanCity Moving last weekend to move from a 2 bedroom to a townhouse. This was my fourth move with VanCity, and I've always been really happy with them. This time as with the others, David came to our place and did a free estimate. He described the services they provide - all furniture is wrapped with moving blankets, they had a special box to pack our flatscreen in. He let us know that they could pack the tv for us for a fee or we could do it ourselves, likewise he let us know that if we wanted our paintings in the truck, they would pack them for a fee, OR we could take them over ourselves. I always appreciate these details, as we can choose how much extra money we wish to spend. As always, David provided me with a firm quote that day, that did not change by a cent. On the day, Drew and Doug showed up on time, friendly and respectful, and with a great attitude. They were always respectful of our belongings, very careful not to scratch the walls, and put down rolled out protection on the floor so as to not track dirt into our house. They were great to talk to while they worked, and were very efficient. At the home, they were equally respectful, unpacked everything quickly but carefully, always asking where we would prefer furniture to be placed. The move was finished in a reasonable amount of time, and the end cost was what we had been quoted. They were the best guys VanCity Moving has ever sent, if we move again I wouldn't think of choosing any other moving company. And I recommend them whenever asked. Couldn't be happier!!!
