We had a bit of touch up work done around the outside of the house. The job was well done using quality materials. You could tell that the fellows doing the work cared about the quality and customer satisfaction. A written quote with a description of the work to be done was provided and was exactly was was agreed to during the estimate. We would call Chris back first the next time I need any painting done!

Al came over and spend quite some time going through design options with us. For this he charged $100, which is something I am not used to. He claimed it would be refunded if he was given the work. However, for this small job his quote came in at $3800!! Two other quotes from experienced contractors each came in at less than $900, and they used the same materials supplier (Cedar Shop). At a minimum I recommend not paying the $100 consultation fee. This company knows how to write an invoice for sure.

Elmer does great work. He showed up on time and did the work at the pre-quoted costs. It was evident he knew what he was doing and did a lot of extra little fix-ups and adjustments at no extra cost. I told him I was considering a new door and opener. He said he could provide and install that but that I did not need those at this time. I appreciate someone that does not try to sell me something I don't really need, even when I am already a motivated buyer. When I do need that new door I am calling above all first.
