AC Electrical performed a whole-house electrical upgrade including a new power box, removal of knob and tube and other substandard wiring and equipment along with assorted repairs, new switches, sockets etc. The AC Electrical team spent more than a week performing the upgrade to our wiring. Many very difficult challenges were encountered in order for them to remove and replace wiring in a 130 year-old brick residence with a 40 year-old, 3-storey addition. Electricians Kyle and Steve were very competent and pleasant to deal with. They made every effort to to be accommodating and to protect our home as much as possible during the upgrade, given the extent and difficulty of the work. The ACE office staff were also very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to friends.

Contractors Masonry Ltd. rebuilt an antique chimney for us, and later redesigned and built our stonework porch. The porch had been rebuilt several times over the years (each time by someone who "really knew what they were doing"). And each time it eventually cracked and crumbled from the ravages of winter. Mario (owner of CMLtd.) took the trouble to analyze carefully the old porch and identify a range of design and workmanship problems. He then created a beautiful new design that would solve them. His analysis was clear, thorough and made intuitive sense even to a non-expert. Mario and his staff were always good to deal with and left the cleanest, safest worksite possible. The design and workmanship of the new porch are beautiful. Contractors Masonry likely won't be the cheapest quote you can get but we learned the hard way that doing things right is cheaper in the long run. I'm betting that our porch will be in good condition twenty years from now.

A bit pricy but the company did a good job: on budget and on time. Time will be needed to ascertain whether the creeping charlie returns or not. For the present we continue to water dutifully and the lawn continues to look good.

As another occasions, Stouffville Home and Comfort performed the prescribed work competently, at a fair price and they were pleasant to deal with. I might wish SHC were a bit more prompt/diligent in returning phone calls (which is why I did not award top marks) but I was satisfied overall.

Stouffville Home & Comfort gave us good advice in helping select an excellent, supplementary a/c unit that meets our needs beautifully. They installed it neatly and quickly and the price was fair and without "extras" despite some installation challenges i.e., the bathroom exhaust fan installation was a tricky retrofit in a 130 year-old house which required cramped work in a hot attic filled with loose insulation. Each of the workmen was cheerful, prompt, professional and capable. They worked quickly and left a clean work site. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and Brian oversaw things in an effective, unobtrusive manner. I would certainly use this firm again and am most happy to recommend them.

I am very happy with the work performed. Robert was very easy to deal with, well-informed, competent and prompt. He respected our home and was open to questions. The price was reasonable. Bottom line.. Capps Duct Cleaning Services Inc. went out of their way to do a good job.
