Victor from VLT Carpentry has exceptional carpentry skills and does quality work. We had him do two walls with a batten and board modern design and our bedroom wall with a funky geometric design. He took us through all of the steps and presented us with several options. He was meticulous in keeping our house clean during the install and after. The quality of work speaks for itself. I would use him again on future projects and would not hesitate in recommending his services.

Unbelievable professionalism and craftsmanship. We wanted to build a bookshelf in our front room that we are converting into an office space. It needed to be done in specific colours and with specific paint. Istvan and his team delivered and then some. He worked with us on the design and gave suggestions on how we could still accommodate an air vent and power to our speakers. He also worked with our carpenter who was going to install baton and board on the adjacent wall to ensure seamless integration. The end result (see photo) speaks for itself. I highly recommend Black Forest Woodworking and would hire them again for any future woodworking needs.

Last month we hired Axis Construction to finish our garage (paint the walls, install shelving and apoxy the floor), as well as do some work in our backyard (build a deck with a picture frame border, build a 10x16 pergola and a storage unit, and move the existing staircase). This young duo did a really great job and we would definitely recommend them. They were professional from beginning to end. They paid attention to the details, didn't rush the job, explained their methods, were open to ideas and extremely pleasant to work with ... AND they were competitively priced!
